Clément Delacou

Clément obtained his PhD in 2019 from the University of Tokyo. His thesis entitled « Optimization of nanocarbon electrodes for solar cells » investigates the doping of carbon nanotubes and graphene. His work is more specifically aimed at making transparent electrodes to be integrated into organic solar cells without using metal or ITO. He also holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles (Roubaix, France).

He is currently post-doc researcher in Prof Vattuone’s group at the Physics Dpt of Genoa University (I)

Role in IONESCO

Clément joined our group from Sept 20 to August 21. He took a part-time temporaty assistant-professor at the faculty of Science where he taught physics to undergraduates. He also hold a post-doc researcher position.  His task was to investigate ion conductivity in nanotubes as a function of  i) the nature of the ions, their concentration or of pH, ii) the nature (n,m) of the carbon nanotubes and iii) the surface charges. He  was involved in the electrical measurements of the nanofluidic micro-devices.
