Guillaume Herlem

Guillaume is a lecturer at the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon. His studies focus on: the elucidation of the reaction mechanisms of new reactions, the peculiar electro-polymerization that he has discovered, the study of his new polymers deposited in thin film form and their application as sensors and biosensor confined in micro-reservoirs, digital calculation methods based on DFT, « Docking » and Molecular Dynamics, the application of nanomaterials to Nanomedicine: nanovectorization of anti-cancer molecules.

Role in IONESCO

Guillaume is responsible for the DFT calculations and more precisely for the effects related to the charges present on the surface of the nanotubes as well as the chemical groups located at the entrance of the nanotube.
