Manoel Manghi

Manoel is Maître de Conférences (HDR) at Toulouse III University since 2005. He took his Ph.D (Grenoble, 2002) on the theory of polymers at interfaces and a post-doc in Netz group (Munich) on polyelectrolytes and flagellar hydrodynamics. His current research interests are biomembrane, DNA and charged liquids statistical physics. He is coordinator of the Master Physics of life (Toulouse).

Role in IONESCO

Manoel, in cooperation with John (L2C-Montpellier), proposes ion transport models based on statistical physics and hydrodynamics in order to explain the experimental results obtained by the Montpellier partner. He is the project manager for the Toulouse side of the project.
